Members of the TJHS Class of 1950 and guests gathered on May 4, 2011 at the Oak Hills Country Club in San Antonio, TX to celebrate their reunion and to remember those who could not be present. The 60th year reunion planning committee has announced a reunion for the TJHS San Antonio Class of 1950 to be held May 4, 2011. All class members who have already expressed interest have been notified by email or USPS mail containing an announcement, a reservation form and a list of possible attendees. Details may be found on the Reunion Page on this website. A link on that page leads to a Reservation Form which may be printed and mailed with your check.

Planning Committee Needs Your Input
Dear Classmate of Thomas Jefferson High School graduates of 1950,
The following 1950 Classmates met on November 16, 2010, to consider the possibility of staging a Belated 60th Reunion of our very special class:
Arnold Barban, Wally Crow, Carolyn Cloud Greer, Roy Jones, Elizabeth Ladon Kerry, Elward Schneider Reiss, Judy Brandt Scheibe, Barbara Noake Striekert,Lucy Yerly Walters.
After discussing several possible options, the volunteer pre-planning committee would like to propose the following event for your consideration:
Date of Reunion: Wednesday, May 4, 2011, 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
Event: A welcoming reception with appetizers and cash bar,
followed by a seated dinner in the ballroom at Oak Hills Country Club,
5403 Fredericksburg Road, San Antonio, Texas.
The total cost per person is $35.00.
The Committee is very excited about celebrating our 60th (a little belatedly perhaps) and very much hope that you and your spouse/significant other/escort
are able to attend this gala event!
There will be a Class of 1950 directory emailed to you prior to the Reunion with the names and addresses of all those planning to attend. This information will be helpful to you in making individual plans with your classmates on the days preceding or following our event at Oak Hills.
It is our hope that you will respond to us upon receiving this information about Our Class Reunion in May of next year. Your committee will need time to assess the returned information to us as soon as possible in order to know best how to plan and, mainly, how to proceed in making the event a big success.
